From the Holy Spirit I seek the gift of peace. My heart and soul are restless, and I ask the Holy Spirit to calm them. Then I can be a non-anxious presence with others.

I experience Jesus in the people around. I marvel at their capacity for love and compassion.

I sometimes feel the strength of the Holy Spirit in the middle of then night when I cannot sleep.

Sunday's gospel shows me who God is, and who I can be. Jesus was a man of prayer. I also need to be a person of prayer in order to face my challenges.
