Sunday Night Prayer and Small Groups

Picture
Young people (whether or not they admit it) crave quiet time.  The world is so full of noise and "doing". Often young people experience huge amounts of stress and anxiety as a result.  Sunday Nights are a time when youth can learn to pray contemplatively. Finding the quiet they thirst for can be the start of a life long love affair with our God. Following Prayer will be small groups. Trained small group leaders listen and are present with youth as they explore what came up for them during prayer or simply whats going on in their life (the good and the struggle). The evening concludes with a shared meal around a table.
On Sunday evenings that line up with "Parent Night" God Squad age youth are welcome to attend and the meal will be shared by all.
