The PROCESS OF Becoming Catholic (RCIA/RCIC)

“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.”  That’s the call we all received at Baptism, and that’s the challenge we all have today, making disciples who follow Christ no matter what the cost.  That takes faith and that takes time.  The RCIA/RCIC, Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults/Children, is the process to formally bring someone into the Catholic Church.

We have just celebrated the Easter Vigil where we welcomed new people into our church and parish through the reception of the Sacraments.  There are others who also need to hear the call to become Christian Catholics!  There are others who need to feel God’s love and guiding hand in their life.  We are the hands, hearts, and minds that help God continue the work of salvation.
