Come, Holy Sprit,

Fill our hearts with your love.

Bless us, Holy Spirit, with your gift of WISDOM.

Help us discover what is right and good for ourselves and others.

Guide us in all our decisions.

May we see our beauty around us and within us and

May we turn to you often in prayer.

Bless us, Holy Spirit, with the gift of COURAGE.

Help us accept what we find difficult and frustrating in our lives.

Give us strength to accept what we cannot change.

Help us “stand with” those who suffer,

And may we “stand out” in our caring for those in need.

Bless us, Holy Spirit, with the gift of GENTLENESS.

May we see each person as a brother or sister to respect.

Calm our harshness, heal our quickness to judge,

And put others down.

Give us hearts of compassionate love.

Bless us Holy Spirit, with the gift of CREATIVITY.

Help us try new thoughts and things,

And to realize we do not “know it all.”

Help us be persons who forgive others readily, and so live in peace.

May our lives help others find joy,

And be a good example to all.

Bless us Holy Spirit with new AWARENESS,

Awareness of our responsibilities to ourselves and to others.

Help us be ourselves and be less afraid.

Help us to know that you always forgive us, and help us to

Make new beginnings and live in the “Now.”

Bless us, Holy Spirit, with peace. 

Bring your healing to St. Charles Parish

And our whole church and world. 

Help us to trust you in all things,

And that all will be well, all will be well.
