OUR BAPTISMAL CALL TO UNITY AND PEACE.

Fasting and Abstinence Regulations: All Catholics 14 years and older must abstain from meat on the Fridays of Lent, Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. All Catholics between the ages of 18 and 59 are to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday. To fast means to eat one full meal. The other two meals are less than the normal amount eaten.

Ash Wednesday: February 17, 2010

8 am Mass with distribution of ashes.

6:15 pm Soup Supper.

7 pm Mass with distribution of ashes.

The ashes will be in the church all day. So if you cannot make either of the masses, feel free to come and put ashes on your forehead yourself. The prayers will be with the ashes.
