FROM THE PASTOR:
Our Pentecost feast calls us to be inclusive in our love and to celebrate the gift of our parish diversity. We image our God in our different cultures and remember that “God loves variety.” The task of each church member is to stand shoulder to shoulder with persons of our different cultures. We pray together, work together, support each other, and share the Good News of Jesus together. We are one through the Spirit of Jesus in us and we share one faith, one Lord, one Baptism and one God who is Father and Mother of us all. Happy Pentecost!
This will be my third Mother’s Day without my mother here, but I am grateful for the 87 years she guided me on earth and now for her spirit with me and her prayers for me in heaven. I wish all mothers and grandmothers a Happy Mother’s Day and I will remember at mass all our mothers who have gone before us.
Welcome to Fr. Agnelo this Sunday—a special Pentecost gift to us all! Peace to you—-Fr. JOHN
HOLY SPIRIT, LIVE IN AND THROUGH US!
